M-DCPS serves one of the most diverse student populations in the nation, with more than 94% identifying as racial or ethnic minorities and nearly 25% classified as English language learners. Students represent over 160 nationalities, presenting unique challenges in creating equitable and supportive educational environments, particularly in the wake of the pandemic.
This grant enables M-DCPS to continue its mission of fostering mental health and inclusivity in schools, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
