As the new school year approaches, parents in Miami-Dade County are being encouraged to take advantage of free back-to-school immunizations offered through a collaboration between the Florida Department of Health and Community Health Centers.

On Saturday, August 9, eleven clinics across the county will provide immunizations for children at no cost. The initiative aims to ensure students are up to date on required vaccines before returning to the classroom.

Parents or guardians must bring their child's immunization records and be present during the clinic visit. While some locations accept walk-ins, most clinics require or recommend appointments, and early arrival is advised due to high demand.
