The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, or MDEAT, said recipients are located across North, Central and South Miami-Dade and represent 10 county commission districts.
“What we're celebrating isn't just 36 grants, it's 36 businesses that are now stronger, better resourced, and better positioned to grow right here in Miami-Dade County,” MDEAT Executive Director William “Bill” Diggs said.
“From North Dade to South Dade, these entrepreneurs represent the resilience and ambition that drive our local economy, and we're proud to invest directly in their success.”
Recipients include businesses and organizations operating in a range of sectors, including health care, child care, consulting, food services, media and retail.
Among the recipients of $10,000 grants are A Divas Dream Boutique, Sprout Up, Tidy Pets and Upright Spine Center in South Miami-Dade; Dream Clean, Italian Vice and She Got Game Media in Central Miami-Dade; and Fit Fast Food, Rod Helping Hands and Single Life Ministries in North Miami-Dade.
Recipients of the $2,500 grants include Birts Legal, Prime Printing Global, RejuvaSkin MedSpa and Well-Spoken in South Miami-Dade, as well as Cazeau Family Daycare, Grace Home Healthcare, Marlos Roasted Corn and Sweet Treats by Nathalie in North Miami-Dade.
MDEAT will formally recognize the recipients during its 2026 Business Empowerment Grant Reception on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the North Dade Regional Library in Miami Gardens.
The event will bring together grant recipients, community partners and MDEAT leadership to celebrate the businesses and organizations selected during this year's grant cycle.
MDEAT said it will continue working with the recipients through technical assistance, networking opportunities and future funding initiatives under its broader Business Empowerment Blueprint framework.
