Miami crash leaves one dead, two police officers injured

One person is dead and two Miami police officers are injured after a multi-vehicle accident on Friday.

Reports are that the crash occurred shortly before noon at the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 26th Street.

It is said that a box truck that was involved in the accident was found on its side.

According to reports, it is unclear whether the police officers were in one vehicle or were driving separately.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Others involved in the collision were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Investigations are ongoing.
