Miami Beach named “World’s Leading Lifestyle Destination of 2023”

Miami Beach has clinched the coveted title of the “World’s Leading Lifestyle Destination of 2023” by the esteemed World Travel Awards.

This recognition follows the city’s earlier triumphs as “North America's Leading Beach Destination” and “North America's Leading City Destination” in 2023.

An oasis of art and culture

Miami Beach’s winning streak can be attributed to its public art collection, an array of world-class museums and art galleries, an abundance of luxurious spas and coastal hotels, and an unparalleled fine-dining scene that graces every corner of the city.

Miami Beach: A family-friendly icon

The City of Miami Beach in a statement celebrated this prestigious accolade, stating that the award reaffirms that it continues to be one of America’s most iconic, family-friendly vacation cities.

It said that its pristine beaches, distinctive art deco architecture, a plethora of arts and culture offerings, world-class hospitality, and a wealth of health and wellness activities make it a favorite.

A sixth consecutive triumph

This marks the sixth consecutive year that Miami Beach has seized the top honor in the World Travel Awards’ lifestyle destination category.

Embracing the future with technology

In addition to its rich cultural offerings and scenic beauty, Miami Beach is actively shaping the future of lifestyle tourism. The recent launch of the “Experience Miami Beach” app exemplifies the city's dedication to enhancing visitor experiences.
