Dancehall artiste Masicka is set to headline his first major solo show in Portmore when the Forever1NE Music Festival takes place at Caymanas Park on Dec. 19, 2026.

The festival is being staged in partnership with Zimi Entertainment, with Magnum as title partner, and will feature Masicka alongside special guests and other performers. Additional details about the lineup and festival experience are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

For Masicka, the event marks a return to the community that has played a central role in his life and music career.

“Forever1NE has always represented more than just me. It represents the people who have been with me from the beginning, the fans, the team and everybody who believes in the journey,” Masicka said.

“Portmore is home, so being able to touch the stage here and bring Forever1NE to the people means a lot. After everything that has happened this year, it feels right to celebrate this moment at home.”

The announcement comes after the release of Masicka's third studio album, Forever Reign, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart for the week ending Aug. 29, according to the festival organizers.

The 17-track album was released through Def Jam Recordings and followed 438, released in 2021, and Generation of Kings, released in 2023.

Masicka has also received international attention for the album, including a September feature in Spotify's Frequency digital magazine and campaign.

Nicholas “Zimi Nick” Mahfood, managing director of Zimi Entertainment, said the company sees the festival as an opportunity to build a major live entertainment event in Jamaica.

“Zimi Entertainment has always been focused on delivering premium music and entertainment experiences that resonate with patrons both locally and internationally,” Mahfood said.

“We see tremendous potential for Forever1NE to grow into a signature music event, and we’re excited to be part of building that from its very first staging.”

Dominic Bell, communications manager at J. Wray & Nephew Limited, said Magnum's partnership with the festival reflects the brand's longstanding association with Jamaican music and culture.

Limited early-bird tickets are currently on sale.
