A 25-year-old man was shocked Wednesday afternoon in Hialeah, after he attempted to pick a mango.

The incident occurred at 1150 E. Eighth Ave.

Authorities said the  man was shocked while he was trying to take a mango off of a tree with a metal pole.

The pole made contact with a high tension wire and the man was shocked.

He was taken to hospital where he was being attended to.
