A dispute over parking in Lauderhill on Saturday ended with one man hospitalized and another detained, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of an altercation near 1500 N. State Road 7, where two men had reportedly gotten into an argument that escalated into violence. During the confrontation, one of the men was stabbed.

Police said the injured man drove himself to the Lauderhill Fire Station, where first responders treated him before he was taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.

The alleged attacker was detained at the scene, and officers recovered a knife believed to have been used in the incident. However, as of Saturday, no arrests had been made while the investigation continues.
