A man was arrested and charged with murder following the shooting in  Miami Beach on Sunday.

Dontavious Leonard Polk, 24, of Fort Lauderdale, was charged with first-degree murder.

A surveillance video shows a shooter firing into a crowd of spring breakers in Miami Beach and repeatedly shooting a victim already on the ground.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. near 11th Street and Ocean Drive, according to an arrest report.

According to police reports, Polk was walking with three other men along the sidewalk in the 1000 block of Ocean Drive when he approached the victim.

He then took out a firearm and fired at him several times, causing him to fall to the ground.

He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died.

His identity has not been released.

It is reported that a second person was also injured during the shooting.
