Makers Air introduces first international flight to Stella Maris, Bahamas

Makers Air has announced a direct scheduled flight, bringing closer connectivity and convenience between Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) and Stella Maris, Long Island (SML), Bahamas.

Starting December 14, 2023, Makers Air will commence its Thursday and Sunday flights. Prospective travelers can start securing their bookings starting October 23, 2023.

Marking a significant advancement in international air travel, this route stands out as the singular direct scheduled international flight connecting Florida to Long Island. 

This strategic move eradicates the previous challenges of prolonged layovers in Nassau, offering a more fluid and uncomplicated travel experience to Long Island from Florida.

1. Efficient Departures: The afternoon flights departing from FXE at 1 p.m. will allow guests flying in from across the US and Canada to arrive on the same day.
2. Freight Forwarding: With scheduled flight services, Makers Air is also pleased to announce the availability of freight forwarding services, ensuring the timely delivery of cargo.

   1. Thursday and Sunday Flights
   2. Departure: 1 pm from FXE to Stella Maris (SML)
   3. Return: 3:30 pm from Stella Maris (SML) to FXE
