Major League Cricket returns to Broward County July 1–6

Major League Cricket (MLC) is bringing high-octane cricket action back to South Florida, with eight thrilling matches scheduled from July 1 to 6 at Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill. The tournament marks the only Florida stop in the 2025 MLC season, giving fans a rare chance to catch world-class T20 action live.
Powerhouse franchises like MI New York, Texas Super Kings, Los Angeles Knight Riders, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, and Washington Freedom will take the field, with each match promising edge-of-the-seat excitement. Cricket stars such as Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Andre Russell, Heinrich Klaasen, Shimron Hetmyer, and Steven Taylor—a former Team USA captain and Lauderhill native—are set to headline the week.
The action kicks off Tuesday, July 1 at 7:00 PM, with the San Francisco Unicorns facing off against the Seattle Orcas, and continues with daily matchups—including a double-header on July 4—all leading up to the final day of play on Sunday, July 6.
Fans can expect more than just top-tier cricket. The event is designed as a family-friendly celebration of sport and culture, featuring fireworks, food trucks, fan activations, and cultural festivities in honor of the July 4th holiday weekend.
