KINGSTON, Jamaica - Rising Reggae star Koffee continues to make waves internationally, as her hit song 'Toast' was featured on Former US President Barack Obama's summer playlist. Every year, Obama reveals a list of his favorite songs for the year with an annual playlist. Among the 2019 list was Koffee's 'Toast', which was listed at number 28. "With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy," Obama wrote. She responded to the list on Twitter, saying "WOW!!! Gratitude really is a must". Koffee is one of two Reggae artists that made Obama's list this year. Toots & The Maytals "54-46 Was My Number" was also on the list. Other artists on the list included Ella Fitzgerald, Anthony Hamilton, Drake, and Frank Sinatra. Koffee is currently on tour with R&B artist Daniel Caesar.
