Justin Greaves' outstanding all-round displays against Sri Lanka have translated into major rewards, with the West Indies star emerging as the biggest Caribbean mover in the latest ICC Men's Test Player Rankings.

Fresh off earning both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards, the Barbadian enjoyed significant gains with the bat, ball, and in the all-rounders' standings after playing a pivotal role in the West Indies' series triumph.

His remarkable rise highlights the growing impact he is making in the longest format and reflects the confidence generated by the Caribbean side's successful home campaign.

Greaves climbs across the board

Greaves' magnificent innings of 180 in the second Test at North Sound proved the catalyst for a substantial leap in the batting rankings.

The 32-year-old surged 14 places to break into the world's top 50, climbing to 49th among Test batters.

His contributions extended well beyond the bat. After claiming another wicket in the drawn second Test to finish the series with four dismissals, Greaves also improved to 69th in the Test bowling rankings.

His greatest leap came in the all-rounders' standings, where his consistent performances propelled him to 17th in the world, further cementing his growing reputation as one of the West Indies' most valuable multi-dimensional players.

Windies batters continue upward trend

Greaves was not the only Caribbean player rewarded following the series.

Captain Shai Hope climbed six places to 51st in the Test batting rankings after another productive outing, while double-centurion Amir Jangoo improved two positions to 60th.

Opening batter John Campbell, whose composed half-centuries helped secure the drawn second Test, also gained six places to move into 64th.

The collective rise of several West Indies batters offers further encouragement as the team continues rebuilding its Test credentials following an impressive series against Sri Lanka.

Fernando returns to elite bowling company

Sri Lanka also celebrated a notable rankings success.

Fast bowler Asitha Fernando fought his way back into the world's top 20 Test bowlers after producing an outstanding first-innings spell of 5 for 130 in Antigua.

The performance reaffirmed his standing among the game's leading pace bowlers and was one of the few bright spots for the visitors during the series.

ODI Rankings reward Rana's match-winning spell

Elsewhere, Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana recorded one of the week's biggest gains in the ICC Men's ODI Rankings.

His devastating figures of 6 for 21 against Zimbabwe in Harare powered Bangladesh to a 25-run victory and lifted him 17 places to a career-best 12th in the ODI bowling standings.

Zimbabwe's pace duo also made upward progress, with Richard Ngarava climbing to 19th and Blessing Muzarabani advancing to 33rd after sharing five wickets in the same contest.

Bethell and Iyer rise in T20I Standings

The latest ICC update also brought significant movement in the T20 International rankings.

England batter Jacob Bethell climbed to a career-best eighth after his unbeaten 76 from 56 balls against India in Manchester.

India captain Shreyas Iyer enjoyed one of the most dramatic jumps of the rankings update, soaring 425 places to 93rd after compiling 110 runs across three innings.

Among the bowlers, England all-rounders Sam Curran and Will Jacks were also rewarded for their recent performances, with Curran moving from 72nd to 65th, while Jacks climbed from 135th to 92nd.

For the West Indies, however, the latest rankings served as further evidence that strong performances against Sri Lanka are beginning to translate into individual recognition, with Greaves leading a wave of Caribbean players trending in the right direction.
