Jamaica’s People's National Party (PNP) is mourning the death of Councillor Lincoln Dixon who passed on Thursday morning.

In expressing condolences to family members, PNP President Mark Golding said that the party was startled and saddened by the sudden death of Dixon who had recently buried his son.

Golding added that Dixon was a “wonderful colleague and a much-loved and dedicated representative of the people.”

Lincoln Dixon, who was the sitting chairman of Region Two, was also the party’s standard bearer for the Islington division in St. Mary.
