I know this will be a really good experience and a great challenge for me, and I’m really excited,” Swaby told LCFC.com. “Playing as the home team at King Power Stadium will be a whole different experience, and I’m really looking forward to getting started with my teammates and meeting the supporters.”
Born in Connecticut, USA, Swaby's footballing journey began in 2016 with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. Her professional career started in March 2020 when she was drafted in the fourth round by National Women's Soccer League outfit Sky Blue FC.

Swaby then spent a year with Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League before moving to French top-flight side FC Fleury 91, where she made 33 appearances and helped the club to a fourth-place finish.
