The CBF, established in 2012, serves as a regional umbrella fund supporting conservation and sustainable development efforts across the Caribbean. The organization uses a range of financial instruments to deliver long-term funding and consolidate regional environmental impacts.
Lewis brings over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial leadership, having held roles as an external auditor, chief accountant, strategic planner, and consultant. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Economics and an MSc in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.

The CBF was created as part of the Caribbean Challenge Initiative and aims to provide sustainable funding for the region’s environmental priorities.
