Focus on Public Health and Water Management


The group of leaders discussed prevalent issues such as public health and water management challenges affecting their respective nations. Netanyahu committed to sending Israeli experts to the Caribbean to provide necessary assistance.

Israel is set to expand its support later in the year, with the Israeli embassy in Panama slated to conduct a course named “Intensive vegetable production in arid and semi-arid conditions.”

Strengthening Israeli-Caribbean Ties


Earlier in the year, ties between the regions were strengthened with collaborations in sports and international resolutions, including a memorandum of understanding between Israeli and Dominican Republic baseball teams, and the adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance working definition of antisemitism by Latin American legislators.
