Intersection improvement project to begin in Coral Springs

The Highway Construction and Engineering Division will perform improvements at the Coral Springs Drive and Westview Drive intersection in Coral Springs.

The work, funded by the gas tax, is expected to start on Monday, May 8 and conclude in September 2023, barring any unforeseen conditions and/or weather delays.

Project Overview:

  • Upgrading traffic signals to steel mast arms

  • Milling and resurfacing of the intersection

  • New signing and pavement markings

  • ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, crosswalks and pedestrian signals

Staff will work closely with residents and businesses in the construction area to minimize impacts caused by any necessary lane closures.
