Reggae sensation Gyptian returns to the music scene with his latest single, "In the Dark," released recently via VPAL Music.

Produced by Spot On Records and Mek Cent$ Entertainment, "In the Dark" combines lush background harmonies with a sleek, alluring beat. Gyptian's effortless delivery brings the emotionally charged narrative to life, pulling listeners into the intrigue of a hidden relationship. Alongside the single, a music video has been released, providing a visual complement to the story.

Anthony Taylor of Spot On Records revealed that Gyptian's earlier hit, "Wine Slow," was a major influence on this new track. "I told him I wanted that same vibe, and he definitely delivered," Taylor said. "We built the beat and concept from there, and Gyptian nailed it—this is one of my favorite tracks we’ve worked on together."

Gyptian’s latest release adds to his impressive list of achievements, including his global hit "Hold You," which went 2x platinum in the UK, selling over 1.2 million units. The track spent 15 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and 19 weeks on the UK singles chart, where it peaked at No. 16. In 2010, Gyptian won the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Artist, solidifying his place in reggae music. His track "Non Stop" is currently gaining traction on TikTok, introducing his sound to a new generation of fans.
