Grenadian employers raise minimum wages for workers

Grenadian employers, including the government, have announced an across-the-board increase in minimum wages for workers, including all media employees.

This change is set to come into effect on January 1.

New minimum wage: EC$1,200 Monthly

Under the revised wage structure, the minimum salary for any employed individual in Grenada will now stand at a minimum of EC$1,200 per month. 

Consultative process

The decision to implement these new minimum wage standards emerged from a series of extensive public consultations led by a cabinet-appointed committee.
