With scoring chances at a premium, Jamaica needed patience to unlock an organized Aruba defense. The decisive moment finally arrived in the 40th minute when substitute Cristian Foster pounced on an inventive piece of play from Tai-Sen Headley.

Headley’s clever back-heel pass created the opening, and Foster supplied the finish to put Jamaica ahead.

One goal, three points, another clean sheet

The goal ultimately proved enough.

Aruba was unable to find an equalizer as Jamaica protected its slender advantage through the closing stages to secure a second consecutive victory.

The result leaves Jamaica on six points after two games, while Aruba remains on one point.

For the defending champions, the formula has been simple so far: capitalize when opportunities emerge, then defend the advantage with discipline.

Haiti turns Group B encounter into a rout

Haiti also strengthened its position among the unbeaten teams with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in their Group B matchup.

Haiti wasted little time establishing control.

Jodeley Delmas opened the scoring with a fourth-minute free kick before Wensley Dumorne doubled the advantage in the 26th minute.

Jerry Petit-Homme then delivered another blow nine minutes before halftime, unleashing a long-range effort to give Haiti a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.

Trinidad and Tobago managed to reduce the deficit after halftime when Jiair Nanton converted from the penalty spot.

But the response did little to change the balance of the contest.

Haiti remained in control, and Petit-Homme completed his brace in the 67th minute to restore the three-goal cushion and seal a convincing victory.

Mitchum hat-trick sparks St. Kitts and Nevis

Elsewhere, Alijah Mitchum produced one of the day's standout individual performances, scoring three times as St. Kitts and Nevis defeated Curaçao 4-2.

The result added another high-scoring chapter to a tournament increasingly defined by young attacking talent.

The Dominican Republic also prevailed in a closely contested encounter, edging Barbados 3-2.

Bermuda recorded a 2-0 victory over Martinique, while French Guiana secured a narrow 1-0 triumph against Puerto Rico.

Jamaica’s title defense gathers pace

With two victories from two matches, Jamaica has made the kind of start that every defending champion wants.

The junior Reggae Boyz have not needed spectacular margins to establish their authority. Instead, they have combined efficiency with defensive discipline, and Foster’s timely finish against Aruba once again proved that a single decisive moment can be enough.

Six points are now in the bank, and Jamaica remains firmly in command of Group C as its bid for a second consecutive CFU Under-14 Boys Tier 1 crown gathers momentum.
