The Fort Lauderdale Police Department proudly announces seven of their police cadets have graduated from Broward College’s Institute of Public Safety Police Academy. At Thursday’s (March 14) graduation ceremony, a number of the cadets earned prestigious awards and commendations.

Firearms Proficiency Award – Cadet I. Peña
Frankie Shivers Award – Cadet M. Sandelier
Academy Class 321 President – Cadet A. Williams
Academy Class 321 Treasurer – Cadet Q. Wright
Academy Class 321 Company Commander – Cadet R. Bouchelle
