“Wah Gwan Bout Yah Man” peaked at number 10 on the US iTunes Reggae Singles Chart late into Wednesday night, December 18. This signals the first time Flippa Moggela has scored a top 10 hit on iTunes since his release from prison two years ago in 2022 after serving a 9-year sentence for drug trafficking and money laundering. Known as the ‘Flossing King’, this recent success coincides well with Flippa’s usual charismatic persona of living the high life. “Wah Gwan Bout Yah Man” questions the current state of those who claim to be about that life but don’t seem to be able to maintain it due to lack of funds.

Flippa Moggela is enjoying the fruits of his labor and states emphatically, “It’s an honor. I am so grateful and thankful for the support I have been receiving and I’m going to continue to put in the hard work!!!”

A music video was also shot for “Wah Gwan Bout Yah Man”, with scenes both in the US and Jamaica. Flippa Moggela will be riding this momentum straight into the new year.
