BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Feb 20, CMC – England defeated West Indies by six wickets, in the opening One-Day International of the five-match series at Kensington Oval here Wednesday.

WEST INDIES 360 for eight off 50 overs (Chris Gayle 135, Shai Hope 64, Darren Bravo 40, John Campbell 30, Ashley Nurse 25 not out; Ben Stokes 3-37, Adil Rashid 3-74)

ENGLAND 364 for four off 48.4 overs (Jason Roy 123, Joe Root 102, Eoin Morgan 65, Jonny Bairstow 34; Jason Holder 2-63).
