Earthquakes felt by islands in Eastern Caribbean
On Thursday morning, two earthquakes were felt in several countries in the Eastern Caribbean.
According to the Seismic Research Center at the University of the West Indies (UWI), the first tremor struck at 1:56 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.5, affecting sections of St Kitts Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, and Guadeloupe.

The earthquake originated at a depth of 10km.
Shortly before this incident, at 1:29 a.m., another earthquake rattled the region. This time, Barbados took the epicenter stage, experiencing a 3.7 magnitude quake.
The impact of this tremor was also felt in neighboring islands such as St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Lucia, heightening the sense of alarm in the area.
There have been no reports of injuries or damage resulting from these seismic events.
