Early voting for the November 3 general election opened Monday across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, giving registered voters two weeks to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.

Voting will be available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday, November 1, at designated locations throughout the three counties.

In Miami-Dade County, the Office of the Supervisor of Elections has opened 28 early-voting locations. Broward County has 30 locations, while Palm Beach County has 28.

Registered voters may cast their ballots at any early-voting location within their county of registration, allowing them to choose a site that is convenient for their work or travel schedules.

Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia encouraged voters to review their sample ballots, research candidates and ballot questions, and plan their visits before arriving at the polls.

Voters should bring current and valid government-issued identification containing their name, photograph and signature. A voter information card is not required.

In Broward County, Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott also encouraged residents to take advantage of the extended voting period, which includes both weekends.

Palm Beach County offers an optional appointment program that allows voters to schedule a 15-minute time slot at an early-voting location. Appointments are not required, and voters can check locations and wait times online.

Voters who have received vote-by-mail ballots may also return completed ballots at designated secure ballot intake stations during early-voting hours. Palm Beach County voters can drop off their ballots at any early-voting location, while Broward County has secure ballot intake stations at all 30 early-voting sites.

Miami-Dade voters may return completed vote-by-mail ballots at secure intake stations at any of the county's 28 early-voting locations during operating hours.

The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed to a voter is Thursday, October 22, at 5 p.m. in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Completed vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the relevant elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Voters should check their county's instructions for ballot-return deadlines and approved drop-off locations.

On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in Broward County must vote at their assigned precinct.

Voters can find early-voting locations, review sample ballots and access additional election information through the respective elections offices: Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County.
