Jamaica's women's football team, under the guidance of coach Wendell Downswell, endured a crushing 10-0 defeat to Paraguay at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. This follows their 7-0 loss to Mexico on the preceding Sunday, as the football squad adds to the sub-performance thus far by the 90-member Jamaican delegation.

In other events, Blaise Bicknell and Rowland Phillips progressed to the quarter-finals of the men's doubles tennis with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over the American pair of Evan Zhu and Omni Kumar. Bicknell also secured a win in men's singles, defeating Martin Vergara of Paraguay 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, but Phillips suffered a 7-5, 4-6, 4-6 loss to Colombian Nicolas Mejia. Additionally, John Chin faced a 3-6, 0-6 defeat to Triston Boyer of the US in the men's Round of 32 singles.

In the women's 4x100m Medley Relay, the Jamaican team, consisting of Sabrina Lyn, Leanna Wainwright, Emily MacDonald, and Morgan Marie Cogle, finished fifth in Heat One with a time of 4:27.66 minutes, trailing the winner by 22.47 seconds.

Knight-Wisdom finishes 11th in 3m springboard diving

Yona Knight-Wisdom participated in the men's 3m springboard dive final, securing an 11th-place finish with a score of 372.10. He had previously placed seventh in the preliminary with a score of 385.85. Knight-Wisdom and Yohan Eskrick-Parkinson also finished fifth in the final of the men's 3m springboard synchronized competition with a score of 345.51.

Jamaica's women's 3x3 basketball team faced losses in their Group C matches, falling to Venezuela 21-17 and Puerto Rico 22-11.

On the badminton court, Mexico's Romina Fregosa and Miriam Rodriquez defeated Jamaica's Katherine Wynter and Tahlia Richardson 2-0 (21-19, 21-16).

In artistic gymnastics, Caleb Faulk finished 19th out of 24 competitors in the final with a score of 73.398. His scores for individual exercises were 12.600 on the floor, 11.666 on the pommel horse, 12.733 on rings, 12.666 on vault, 12.000 on parallel bars, and 11.733 on the horizontal bars.
