CWI reveals strong financial performance in annual report

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has released its Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2022-2023, showcasing revenues of US $62.3 million and a net income of US $14.25 million.

President Dr. Kishore Shallow commended the collective progress achieved during the period, expressing confidence in the organization's future endeavors.

President Shallow highlighted the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, noting its potential economic impact of over US $300 million for the Caribbean. He affirmed CWI's readiness to host the event, aiming to deliver a spectacular spectacle in June.

CWI's continued financial strengthening

Chief Financial Officer Kebra Nanton acknowledged CWI's continued financial strengthening, revealing a surplus of US $12 million and forecasting a surplus exceeding US $20 million by the end of 2024.

Nanton emphasized the importance of fortifying CWI's financial position to navigate future challenges effectively. CWI's financials underwent rigorous auditing by Grant Thornton, Antigua, ensuring transparency and accountability.
