CONCACAF unveils Nations League play-in match-ups as Guyana and Barbados vie for Gold Cup spot

CONCACAF has officially released the play-in fixtures for the Nations League, featuring a standout match-up between the Guyana Jaguars and the undefeated Barbados Tridents.
This showdown, set for next month, will determine which team secures a coveted spot in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup preliminaries.
The play-in format pits League A’s fifth- and sixth-ranked teams against the top four teams from League C, which includes three group winners and the best runner-up. The Tridents completed their League C run without a single loss, earning a promotion to League B, while the Jaguars were relegated to League B after struggling to gain traction in League A.
The first leg of the Jaguars-Tridents match is scheduled for November 15 at the Wildey Astro Turf in Barbados, followed by the second leg on November 19 at the National Track & Field Leonora in Guyana. The teams will battle across both legs, with the aggregate score winner advancing to the Gold Cup prelims.
Three other exciting pairings will also be in action as part of the play-in fixtures: Cuba faces St. Kitts and Nevis, Guadeloupe will clash with the Cayman Islands, and French Guiana takes on Belize.
