Computers for Guns is a community-based initiative focused on reducing gun violence, providing positive alternatives and opportunities through technology, and setting the stage for peaceful and purposeful dialogue among all members of the community.
Community members are encouraged to anonymously exchange firearms for new laptop computers and a Target gift card. This will be a robust event with many focal points. Multiple internet providers will be present to provide free and reduced internet costs, other entities will be providing job training, teaching resume building skills, and various career exploration programs
