City of Miami celebrates Haitian Heritage Month with Sak Pasé in Little Haiti

The City of Miami and Chairwoman & District Five Commissioner Christine King are teaming up to present Sak Pasé, a lively celebration in Little Haiti marking Haitian Heritage Month and Haitian Flag Day.

Set for the Little Haiti Cultural Center, the free community event will spotlight the vibrancy of Haitian culture through live music, traditional cuisine, and a spirited homage to Haiti’s lasting influence in Miami. While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets on Eventbrite.

The evening’s entertainment lineup features popular local DJs—DJ Haitian Mike, DJ Bugz, and DJ Lukid—with hosting duties handled by Vee Boss. In addition to music and food, a raffle will be held during the festivities, with one attendee winning a 65-inch television.

“Sak Pasé is more than a greeting—it is a cultural celebration,” said Chairwoman King. “We’re proud to uplift the Haitian community with an event that reflects its richness, joy, and deep roots in our city.”
