Broward Health’s “Get Pinked Out” tent attracted nearly 1,500 visits from walk attendees. The booth featured pink-themed merchandise, including towels, bags and bucket hats.
The health system was recognized as one of the event’s top 10 fundraising teams and had one of the highest numbers of registered participants among participating teams.
The walk drew an estimated 25,000 people and raised approximately $1 million, according to Broward Health. Participants gathered to celebrate breast cancer survivors, honor loved ones and support individuals and families affected by the disease.
Broward Health said its participation also reflected its commitment to providing personalized breast cancer care. Its multidisciplinary team offers advanced treatment options and coordinated support tailored to patients’ needs throughout their care.
