BCT Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Coree Cuff Lonergan said the initiative is designed to provide residents with affordable and convenient alternatives to driving.
"Our goal is to make it easier for customers to enjoy this historic moment while reducing the stress associated with traffic and parking," Lonergan said. "Whether customers are traveling to Miami Stadium for a match or attending a Watch Party at Amerant Bank Arena, BCT is providing easy and affordable transportation options that connect Broward County to the excitement."
For match attendees, BCT will continue operating several transportation options for verified ticket holders traveling to Miami Stadium. These include the fare-free Miami Stadium Express service, which runs directly between Amerant Bank Arena and the stadium on match days.
The service will be available for matches including Uruguay versus Cabo Verde on June 21, Colombia versus Portugal on June 27, the quarterfinal on July 11, and the third-place playoff on July 18.
Additional transportation options include the 441 Breeze route, which connects riders to the Miami Game Day Express Shuttle at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and the 102 Express route, which operates between Plantation's West Regional Terminal and Calder Casino in Miami Gardens. Both services cost $2 per trip.
In response to growing demand, BCT is also introducing dedicated Park & Ride transportation for several World Cup Watch Parties at Amerant Bank Arena.
The service will operate for the USA versus Paraguay watch party on June 12, Colombia versus Portugal on June 27, the quarterfinal watch party on July 11, and the tournament final on July 19.
Buses will depart from three Broward County locations: Broward Boulevard Park & Ride, Sheridan Street Park & Ride, and Miramar Park & Ride. Riders will be transported directly to Amerant Bank Arena through nonstop service.
Parking at all three locations will be free, while bus fares will cost $2 each way. Advance registration is recommended due to limited seating.
In addition to the special event services, soccer fans can also access Amerant Bank Arena using BCT's regular fixed-route network, including Routes 22, 36 and 72.
BCT is encouraging customers to review schedules and make reservations ahead of time. Additional information on transportation services, schedules and seat reservations is available through the agency's World Cup transportation program
