The HBMD is tasked with maintaining and improving the County’s road and bridge infrastructure. Beyond flood prevention, its responsibilities include everything from street resurfacing and bridge maintenance to canal construction and mosquito control.

Residents are encouraged to report any flooded streets or blocked drains to help ensure swift response as Broward continues to monitor the evolving weather conditions.
