Maintaining your pet's health can be expensive, especially with costs rising every day. Broward County Animal Care (BCAC) is offering relief and hosting free Wellness Clinics this month to provide preventative pet care.

Free registration is accessible online. While no appointments are required, pre-registration is encouraged as many of the time slots are already full.

The clinics will be held at two locations:

  • Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 10 AM - 1 PM
    Carver Ranches Library
    4735 S.W. 18th Street
    West Park, FL 33023

  • Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10 AM - 1 PM
    Tyrone Bryant Library
    2230 N.W. 21st Avenue
    Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311

During the wellness clinics, BCAC will offer a free suite that includes exams, vaccines, microchips and primary preventative care. These services would typically cost hundreds of dollars in a private practice.

"At Broward County Animal Care, we understand that maintaining a pet's health can financially burden many families. Our Wellness Clinics are a vital community resource, providing essential preventative care at no cost," said Doug Brightwell, BCAC Director. "We are committed to ensuring that all pets in our community have access to the health services they need to lead happy and healthy lives."

All services will be available while supplies last and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 954-357-9567 or email us at petcareclinic@broward.org.
