Broward County Public Schools spokesperson John J. Sullivan told NBC6 that Horowitz had been reassigned following the arrest while the district determines what further action should be taken.
Horowitz has been “reassigned from the school following an off-campus incident, pending further Human Resources review and action, which may include termination,” Sullivan said.
Details surrounding the incident that led to Horowitz’s arrest have not been made public.
