Antonio strikes as West Ham and Aston Villa share points in 1-1 draw

The veteran striker, soon to turn 34, broke the deadlock in the 29th minute with a remarkable diving header, giving the hosts the lead. However, Aston Villa fought back late in the game, with Nicolo Zaniolo netting the equalizer in the 79th minute.

Although West Ham thought they had snatched victory deep into stoppage time through Tomas Soucek, VAR intervened to disallow the goal due to a hand-ball infringement.

Despite the disappointment of having a goal ruled out, Antonio's performance earned him the Player-of-the-Match award. His manager, David Moyes, emphasized the importance of Antonio's goal-scoring contribution, highlighting the striker's role in the team.
