The Royal Bahamas Police Force has launched an investigation into the death of a cruise ship passenger near Bimini Island in the Bahamas.

Reports are that on November 23, a woman from Fairview Road in Bartlesville, Texas, was found unresponsive in a cabin by her roommate while the cruise ship was navigating international waters.

Medical examination yields grim verdict

The woman was pronounced dead following examination by the cruise ship’s doctor.

Her cause of death will be determined following an autopsy.

Another US tourist dies following recent tradegy

This incident comes in the wake of a recent tragedy that resulted in the death of another American tourist in the Bahamas.

​​A serene vacation in the tropical paradise of The Bahamas took a tragic turn on November 14 when a female tourist from the United States lost her life following a pleasure craft accident near Blue Lagoon Island.

She has been identified as a 75-year-old cruise passenger hailing from the state of Colorado, who was on a voyage to explore the captivating Caribbean destination.
