FLORIDA - In order to ensure public health in response to the threat of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and on the direction from the Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, effective immediately, Monday, March 16, 2020, the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC) is closed for public usage.

All activities at the Center are cancelled until further notice.

The County will continue to assess the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis and will be making decisions regarding the duration of this closure based on the latest recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health. The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and visiting artists is our top priority.

The Center will attempt to reschedule as many events as possible, once Mayor Gimenez issues the order to resume normal operations.
