Actor Will Smith made a surprise appearance at the inaugural Montreux Jazz Festival Miami on Saturday night, delighting fans and adding to the excitement of the event.

Reports are that Smith attended the festival to support his close friend, Jon Batiste, a five-time GRAMMY® winner and OSCAR® awardee.

The two talented artists took the stage together, treating the audience to an impromptu jam session that captivated everyone present.

A touch of New Orleans flavor

Batiste, known for his electrifying performances, typically concludes his shows with a vibrant rendition of “Love Riot,” a homage to New Orleans traditions.

This time was no exception as he ventured into the crowd, spreading joy and music among his adoring fans.

Lights, Camera, Action: “Bad Boys 4” filming

While Smith's surprise appearance thrilled festival-goers, his time in Miami is also dedicated to filming scenes for the highly anticipated “Bad Boys 4” movie.

Alongside co-star Martin Lawrence, Smith is bringing back the beloved detective duo for another action-packed adventure set to hit theaters this summer.
