The Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, expressed optimism about the potential impact of Poko Loko on the local tourism scene during its opening ceremony on June 16.

The project has already created jobs for 65 Jamaicans, with plans to increase the workforce by an additional ten employees soon.

This growth not only enhances the local economy but also emphasizes a commitment to community development and sustainable progress.

Diverse experiences for diverse visitors

Anthony Warren, the owner of Poko Loko, highlighted that the attraction targets a wide array of patrons, including cruise ship passengers, hotel guests, and local residents.

Operating on a reservation-only basis, the facility aims to manage visitor numbers efficiently, ensuring quality service without overcrowding.
