Club Kingston named Global Lounge for 2017

 The lounge at the Normal Manley Airports named as Global lounge of the year.

Club Kingston at the Norman Manley International Airport has been named Global Lounge of the Year by Priority Pass.

Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, says this latest accolade from the international airport lounge access program helps to authenticate the value of destination Jamaica.

He noted that an airport is the first point of contact with a destination for visitors, pointing out that the quality service being offered at Club Kingston will help to ensure more repeat visitors to Jamaica.

Visitor satisfaction is priority

“Visitor satisfaction is the number-one element of what we offer, and it’s that kind of service, it’s that kind of experience that makes people come back and makes Jamaica have 42 per cent repeat business, which is an enviable record all over the world,” Mr. Bartlett said.

He added that the award “accentuates the point we’re making that this destination is the best place for you to come to visit to enjoy life and to exhale.”

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program. Its members provide ratings for lounges based on specific criteria, including overall lounge quality, refreshments, staff, business facilities and ambience.

The Club Kingston Lounge at Norman Manley International Airport is open to all guests departing from the airport, irrespective of class or airline.

It offers a selection of food and beverages, magazines, newspapers, shower facilities, state-of-the-art business center spa, among others.
