Key Reminders for Voters:

  • Identification Requirements: Florida law mandates that voters present a photo ID with a signature at the polling place. A list of acceptable forms of identification can be found on our website. Ensure that your ID matches the signature on file.
  • Vote-by-Mail Ballots: Voters can drop off their Vote-by-Mail ballots at any of the nine Supervisor of Elections offices throughout the county on Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For a complete list of drop-off locations, visit BrowardVotes.gov.
  • In-Person Voting Guidelines: If voters choose to vote in person and bring their Vote-by-Mail ballot as a reference, they must surrender it to a poll worker to be marked as ‘canceled.’ Voters are encouraged to take a screenshot of their Vote-by-Mail ballot for reference in the voting booth. Alternatively, they can download a universal or personalized sample ballot, print it, and use it as a guide while voting in person.
  • Voter Information Card: While your voter information card is not required to vote, it can help verify your district and polling location. Ensure you know your polling place before Election Day by checking your card or using the online precinct finder. If you have recently moved, remember to vote in your new precinct.
  • Provisional Ballots: If you arrive at the polls without the proper ID, you will be required to vote using a Provisional Ballot. These ballots will be counted once the voter’s eligibility is confirmed.
  • Election Results: Results for the 2024 General Election, including Vote-by-Mail, Early Voting, and Election Day votes, will begin streaming on our website at 7:00 p.m. on Election Night. The results will be updated frequently until all precincts have reported.
