Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) has officially opened its School Choice Late Application Window for the 2025/26 academic year. Starting April 7, families have until August 22, 2025, to apply for school reassignments and magnet programs at select schools with available seats.

Applications can be submitted online at browardschools.com/schoolchoice. In addition to traditional reassignment and magnet programs, this late window includes options that were either unavailable or newly introduced since the initial open enrollment period earlier this school year.

Among the highlights:

  • Nova Elementary Schools – Nova Blanche Forman Elementary and Nova Eisenhower Elementary

  • Newly reconfigured K–8 schools – Coconut Creek K–8, Silver Shores K–8, Coral Cove K–8, and Hollywood Central K–8 (available for grades K–6)

  • Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School – Available during this window only

BCPS continues to lead the nation in offering personalized learning opportunities that align with students’ interests and academic goals.

Parents and guardians are advised to monitor their email for award notifications, which will be sent out on a rolling basis beginning the week of April 28 and continuing through August. Only applicants who are awarded a seat will receive a notification.
