Two brothers are facing charges of fentanyl trafficking after embarking on a journey to Miami-Dade County, unknowingly setting up a deal with undercover police officers.
The sting operation

According to reports, David Hernandez, 22, and Justin Hernandez, 19, had no inkling that their plan would soon lead them into the clutches of the law.
Miami-Dade Police reports are that the undercover officers had orchestrated a deal to purchase 10,000 pills, with an estimated street value soaring as high as $440,000.
Determined to seal the deal, the brothers embarked on a journey from California to Miami-Dade County, the stage for their impending encounter with the law.
Discovery of the pills
Upon removing the spare tire from their vehicle, law enforcement officers discovered four vacuum-sealed bags cunningly concealing a significant quantity of Fentanyl M30 pills.
Reports are that two more vacuum-sealed bags of Fentanyl M30 pills were concealed inside the spare tire.
Behind the motive
According to the arrest report, David said that he had been offered $10,000 to make the delivery to Miami.
He further said had picked up his younger brother, Justin, offering him $5,000 to assist in driving.
The report further unveiled that David had cited financial difficulties as the driving force behind his decision to accept the job offer.
Brother’s denial
Justin asserted his innocence, claiming that he had no knowledge of the drugs when his brother picked him up.
Both brothers were apprehended and booked into jail
