The Ministry of Health and Wellness is urging Jamaicans to avoid three unregulated sexual enhancement products being sold locally through online platforms and informal vendors.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the ministry identified the products as “Black Bull Extreme,” “Erectemax,” and “Royal Honey.” It warned that laboratory analysis by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed the products contain undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients that could pose serious health risks.
“These undeclared ingredients may cause harmful health effects, especially in individuals with underlying medical conditions or those taking prescription medications,” the ministry stated, adding that “Black Bull Extreme” is being falsely marketed as a dietary supplement.
The ministry echoed warnings previously issued by the FDA and stressed that Jamaicans should only purchase health-related products from licensed and authorised distributors.
Anyone who has encountered or used these products is encouraged to report the matter by emailing [email protected] or by contacting the ministry’s Standards and Regulation Division.
