Trinidad & Tobago government warns against illegal agricultural imports

The Trinidad & Tobago government has issued a stern warning against the purchase of illegal livestock and agricultural products entering the country.

Led by Agriculture, Land, and Fisheries Minister Kazim Hosein, this proactive effort seeks to inform and protect the public from the potential health hazards posed by such imports.

A comprehensive tour of the Southern Peninsula

Minister Hosein’s commitment to addressing this pressing issue is evident in his recent initiative—a comprehensive tour of key sites across the southern peninsula. 

By doing so, he intends to not only raise awareness but also foster a greater understanding of the health risks associated with the importation of illegal agricultural produce.
