For Nailah, upholding the prestigious Blackman legacy remains a paramount aspiration.

Nailah’s hit songs

At the tender age of 25, Blackman’s accolades are nothing short of impressive.

The year 2017 marked a significant turn in her journey with the release of her smash hit, “Work Out,” featuring Kes the Band.

This track catapulted her to the finals of the International Soca Monarch competition.

Riding on this success, she created hits like “Baila Mami”, “Badishh,” which she collaborated with Jamaican artiste Shenseea, “We Ready,” and “Together We Reign” further solidifying her footprint in the Trinidadian soca arena.

In more recent years, Blackman’s artistry continued to shine.

2022 saw the release of her album, “Teknique,” and she did not slow down in 2023, delighting fans with fresh releases, notably “Come Home” and “Rum & Raisin.”
