Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin welcomes second child

Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin has welcomed her second daughter, Aayla Denise Crooks, with her husband Brandon Crooks. The 8lbs, 6oz baby girl was born on February 2nd at Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. Zaia Christine Crooks, Chin’s first born who is now three years old, was born a day earlier on February 1st.

Only a week earlier, Chin treated her almost 300k Instagram followers to a mesmerizing pregnant photo of herself. The reggae crooner stood in a verdant overgrown field, proudly sporting her large baby bump. The caption read: “Counting the days until I get to hold you my darling.”

The couple had announced the pregnancy on August 7, the day after Jamaica’s Independence Day, with an adorable picture of Zaia with a shirt reading, “I’m going to be a big sister.”

Tessanne Chin was born in Kingston, Jamaica and began singing at a young age. She quickly developed a passion for music, carving out a burgeoning career as a solo artist. Her victorious stint on the reality competition show, The Voice, catapulted her into international stardom.
