The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport has joined forces with J. Wray & Nephew Limited for this year’s celebrations, backed by a sponsorship of $20 million.

The formal agreement was inked on Wednesday, June 12, at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices.

A symbolic collaboration

Hon. Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, underscored the significance of J. Wray & Nephew Limited’s partnership, citing it as a testament to the company’s longstanding commitment to Jamaica.

She emphasized that this collaboration epitomizes the “spirit of Independence.”

Shared commitment to heritage

He highlighted their dedication to promoting the essence of Jamaican culture and identity through these celebrations.
